Abstract: Discover how Cloudian's HyperStore object storage system uses Cassandra. HyperStore software is ideal for enterprises and service providers looking to offer scalable Amazon S3-compatible storage on-premise. In this system, Cassandra plays a key role for data distribution logic, especially multi-data center cases. Cassandra is also used for some data storage. A 360 degree view of the project will be examined — the good, the bad, and lessons learned.
