About Matt:
Matt has over 20 years of experience in complex legal structuring for ultra-affluent U.S. clients. He spent most of a decade teaching substantive estate planning law to other attorneys throughout the U.S. Together with Jonathan Mintz, Matt founded Evergreen Legacy Planning which led to the natural formation of Bespoke Group.

Much of Matt’s effort is spent helping highly affluent wealth builders embrace the qualitative, human side of planning in addition to the more mechanical and technical elements of legal planning. He believes that someone should only engage in complex planning with “eyes wide open,” and he enjoys the process of helping clients understand the important tradeoffs when considering various strategies and jurisdictions. He seeks to demystify complex strategies so clients can confidently make informed decisions.

A man of many interests, Matt spends his free time reading nonfiction books – often memoirs or books on philosophy, economics, geopolitics, and demographics – and pursuing other “right brain” hobbies. Matt is a cyclist, a craft IPA and whiskey connoisseur, and an avid traveler and car enthusiast. His garage is his “Zen Garden” where weekends are spent tinkering on his favorite toys.
