Hi Everybody -

Welcome to “A Widow’s Walk” Life Group! This is a faith-based group meeting to share fellowship and support with other widows and widowers.

During the Spring semester, we will meet once a month on Thursday evening from 6:30-8:00pm at Brakeman’s Coffee House in downtown Matthews. The dates for our upcoming meetings are: January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4 and May 2, 2019.

There is no book or study guide required for this group. Dress: casual. Food and drinks are available at Brakeman’s, if you arrive hungry.

This grief support group is open to widows and widowers whether you are a brand new widow/widower, or have been for many years, this group is for you! Being a widow/widower is a lonely walk. We will meet together to share fellowship and support for one another while studying words of encouragement from the Bible. We will also use resources from a number of grief and widow support groups to stimulate our discussions. Our goal is to help you take the next step in your walk with God and in healing broken hearts.
