With more captioning DIY apps coming out and captioning built-in apps like Instagram and Tik Tok, there are a lot of bad captions out there. Adding captions to videos is only half of the magic formula for rockin' captions. The other half is quality.

PRESENTER BIO
Born hearing-free, Meryl depends on captions to follow videos. She has seen the best and worst of captions since getting her first decoder in 1983. Fast forward years later, Meryl’s digital marketing career has come in handy in educating people about captioning videos and captioning them well.

She's an author, co-author, and contributor to books on web design, tech, and business. A staunch advocate for accessibility and inclusion, Meryl enjoys working with Thomas Logan and the Equal Entry team as an accessibility consultant.
