What we're about

Are you an adult on the spectrum who is interested in attending events in the Greater Boston area and meeting other adults in our community? If so, please join our group!

About once a month, we will host a meetup to attend a local (non-AANE) event. This might include a talk or performance at a library or bookstore, a comedy show or an evening at a board game cafe. We intend to initially pick events that are free to attend, though in the future we may add paid ticketed events as well. If there's interest, we may offer the same events on a regular basis, giving you the chance to see the same faces and make connections more easily.

All events will be attended by an AANE Host who will be the point of contact at the event.

A4cade

*Note this was originally scheduled for 3/29 and postponed due to COVID-19. We are hoping to offer something online on 3/29 in place of the original event* Come join us as we play games at A4cade in Cambridge! There is no cost to attend but you will need your own money to buy tokens for games and any food you may want. A4cade is located inside/behind Roxy's Grilled Cheese (speakeasy style). WE WILL MEET JUST INSIDE THE A4cade ENTRANCE AT 2 PM. Aaron is the event host and his picture is on his profile. If you have any questions you can message Aaron or the AANE organizer. Please note that A4cade is a 21+ venue so you will need an id. Getting there: A4cade is located just outside of Central Square in Cambridge and can be reached by the Red Line on the MBTA or various bus lines. There is no parking lot but some street parking depending on availability. When we're there: You're welcome to stick with the group or go off on your own and play if you prefer. We just ask that you first check in with the event host (Aaron) so he knows you're there and isn't waiting for you. https://www.a4cade.com/
