What we're about

The Mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.
We meet once a month, on the second Wednesday of the month, normally for dinner and a speaker.  We generally have our meetings at Maggiano's Little Italy (located at the Annapolis Mall, Bestgate Road side).  We  are open to all, regardless of occupation or employment status, and would love to have you come see what we are all about.

Whether you LOVE networking or cringe at the thought of walking up to a total stranger to make small talk, it can truly be beneficial for your business. Let’s talk about best practices for before, during, and more importantly AFTER the event so your business can benefit from the thing our parents always warned us about… talking to strangers. Which networking events are best to attend? What about digital business cards? What should I wear? We’ll answer all your questions and then some.
