Fundamentals of modern C++, including data types, value categories, references/pointers, templates, forwarding, move semantics, and more!

Come with your C++ questions and learn the parts of C++ that make it such a great language. We will cover many different topics which will fill in the fundamentals of your programming skills.

Barbara Geller and Ansel Sermersheim are the co-founders of CopperSpice, a C++ GUI library, and DoxyPress, a C++ application for generating documentation.

Barbara is the developer of the open source libraries CsSignal and CsString. She is also the developer of Diamond and KitchenSink. She has programmed in C++, Qt, Visual Objects, Clipper, PHP, and Java. Speaker at CppCon and CppNow, and several ACCU Bay Area meetings.

Ansel is the developer of the open source libraries CsSignal, CsString, and libGuarded. I have programmed in C++, C, Lisp, Java, and Perl, with extensive knowledge in TCP/IP and mutilthreaded design. I am an avid follower of the C++ standard. Speaker at CppCon and CppNow, and several ACCU Bay Area meetings.
