There are many misconceptions about how the Internet operates and who controls it. With a view from the inside, Sigmund will give you the real story – plus a look at where the Internet is headed. One thing we know is that the Internet is always changing, and that our world changes with it. This talk with cover five aspects of the changing internet that will alter our future.

Speaker Bio

Sigmund Fidyke currently serves as Sr. Director, Enterprise Architecture at ICANN, the global non-profit that is responsible for Internet addressing and domain management. With a passion for innovation and technology, Sigmund has previously been CTO at a number of software companies, the Technology Partner at Chicklabs incubator, and is currently a member of Chapman University’s Computer Science Industry Advisory Board.
