ACSJ Gala Holiday/Solstice Banquet, Wed. Dec. 15, 6:00-8:30 pm

Come join together in person for a sumptuous holiday banquet at the China Stix Restaurant in Santa Clara. We have been very pleased with this banquet venue in previous years. If you have faded out of ACSJ during the pandemic Zoom period, now is your chance to join with your like-minded atheist friends and catch up. Come between 6:00 and 6:45 pm (the restaurant requires that you wear a mask as you enter), buy your drink at the bar, and mingle with members of our community before we sit down around 7:00 pm for the extended 10-dish meal. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity!

All participants must be fully vaccinated against COVID, in order to protect our members against the COVID delta variant. We encourage you to get a booster also, so as to protect yourself and others. If you have a legitimate medical reason why you cannot receive any COVID vaccine, contact the ACSJ Treasurer Judy Banister: judy.b@sanjoseatheists.com, and we will work out a solution that ensures the safety of all participants.

The banquet will cost each person $10. ACSJ is heavily subsidizing the actual cost of the banquet. Sign up for the banquet, and pay for your ticket at Eventbrite, or give Judy $10 in cash or a check written to the Atheist Community of San Jose. You may pay at the event.

If you sign up for this event, please be sure to actually show up. Any no-show would mean that ACSJ pays for your meal anyhow. If you have to cancel, please contact Judy immediately so that we can try to cancel your reservation with the restaurant. If you have special dietary restrictions, the restaurant is willing to accommodate you. Contact Judy ahead of the event.
