Join us for a scenic bike ride along the Charles River! Our route will offer sweeping riverfront and skyline views over the course of about 20 miles. We will ride through a mix of terrains over mostly flat, multi use paved pathways, gravel paths, sidewalks, closed roads and a few short sections of active roads with bike lanes. We will bike as a group at a moderate pace and will take breaks along the way for snacks and lunch. This is not a ride for beginners and participants should be prepared to be riding for around 4 hours. After the ride, participants will be invited to an outdoor beer garden for some well deserved refreshments! See the registration page for more details.
To address unforeseen challenges such as adverse weather, unacceptable trail conditions or excessive crowding, the planned trip destination, activity and/or meeting place and time may be modified. In that event, participants may elect to join in that activity or opt out.

We all Scream for Ice Cream and Walks on the Beach.
Join AMC Boston Chapter 20's & 30's and the Local Walks & Hikes Committees for an after-work, mid week casual walk along Wollaston Beach. Feel the sand and water between your toes, catch up with friends and meet new ones. Ice cream, fried foods and other summertime favorites can be purchased along the boulevard. Everyone is welcome! Details will be emailed to registered participants the week of the event. Rain cancels.
This event and many others are open to the public so you don't have to be an AMC member.

Come celebrate the second weekend of August with Young Members!! This is a group within AMC dedicated to encouraging people in their 20s and 30s to enjoy the outdoors.
We will complete portions of the Skyline and red dot trails for a total of 6 miles with 1500 ft of elevation gain over roughly 5-6 hours at a moderate pace (1.5 to 2 mph). This includes summiting Tucker Hill, Buck Hill, and Great Blue Hill where Elliot Tower is located. There will be beautiful views of the Boston skyline and surrounding area. The exact time and meeting location are sent to approved participants only.
We will not require the use of face masks on this trip, following the rescinding of restrictions by MA and NH, although we note that masks are still advised for unvaccinated individuals whenever 6 ft distancing with others cannot be maintained.
