API Meetup Barcelona: Marketing APIs: Do's and Dont's

Time flies by really fast, especially in the APIs world and we don't want to get behind, do we?

Taking advantage of the upcoming APIDays Mediterranea (http://mediterranea.apidays.io)(*) we would like to heat the atmosphere up even more and on May 5 organize the second API Meetup Barcelona event. So this will be at the same time the pre-event warm-up party for APIDays Mediterranea.

"Value of Evangelism"
Marketing to developers is not an easy task. That’s why developer evangelism jobs are in high demand. In this presentation, Tony will give an overview of the necessity of devangelists, their role, effectiveness, and success metrics, and provide a few lessons from the road. He will explain that becoming an API platform is not possible without good API evangelists.

“Hackathons, developers and…one axe!”
Laptops fully charged, developers willing to having fun, tons of food and drinks, the aroma of the code in the ambience… everything is ready, but are you? In this talk, Alberto will show the do’s and don’ts and his vision about how run a hackathon, sharing his experience at BattleHack. Do you want to know how to bring to your devs best experience ever during a hackathon, c’mon to this talk!
