These sessions are great for seasoned and beginner runners wanting to push themselves with some interval training. We will do these at the running track so you are never too far away! The focus on these sessions will be anaerobic endurance workouts focusing on VO2Max. Note that as we progress our sessions may range from 45min - 1.5 hours. Please remember we need to maintain 1.5m distance at all times. Please be aware that the run leaders are volunteers so it will not always be as scheduled. The schedule is also not set in stone and may be changed at times so look out for announcements from your teammates!
Intervals are not only a great way to get that engine fired up but also a very welcomed change of pace. These sessions are built on a set of recurring intervals workouts designed to suit everyone from all levels of running. We run these at the “track” on Flevopark so you are never left alone or behind. Once in a while, we’ll have a shorter interval session preceded by a Running technique training block (Drills), which are great to get you fine-tuned to a proper running technique. We’ll start at 19h sharp with a couple of laps around the track for warm-up. We’ll do some drills followed by the main interval block and a cool-down session.
