Meeting the fourth Monday of each month for lunch, beginning at 1130am with networking, continuing at noon with a 45 minute presentation and Q&A, providing important information on operations, marketing, sales, finance and other issues for the local small business owner.
We have B2B and B2C business owners and employees focus for membership. This not an appropriate group for direct sellers or MLM.
As business owners we work hard to grow our businesses. These days you hear a lot of scary stories about cyber security. Usually those stories include a lot of technical jargon that makes your head explode. The stories usually end in a company having lost data or money or both. 65% of small businesses that have a security breach don’t survive for more than 1 year after the breach. Many business owners are also bombarded with a long list of security products that promise some level of protection. We call this information overload.
You may have questions about what risks are present in your environment. How do you select a set of security products that will work together to protect the company but not disrupt productivity? What do all those terms mean and how do they relate to one another.
Jeff Floyd will put these items in context and describe the big picture of cyber security so that you can work with your technology team to make practical business decision on the protections that are right for your company, budget, risk tolerance. We will not be able to answer all the questions in our talk, we will be able to clear a path to peace of mind. Be an active participant in of your cyber defense. Cyber security is not a topic that can ignored.
