Session 1
Soup to Nuts: What It Takes to Build a Serverless Single Page Application in AWS, Part I
Tutorials and hello world exercises, while instructive, can only take you so far. At some point, you need to dive in and build a full application if you're going to grok how things are done and why. This talk is part one of two describing what it takes to build a single page application using the AWS ecosystem. What you'll get from this talk is knowledge an inch-deep and a mile wide as to how to integrate the various AWS components to create a stable production-ready application.
Speaker: David Holiday - Clickfox
Session 2
S3 Multipart Upload
Simple upload of small files to S3 is easy; however, more often than not you need to upload large files or want to increase performance and fault-tolerance by breaking files into smaller pieces. S3 multi-part upload allows for this but comes with its own subtleties. In this session, we will explore how to do this by building resumable file transfers from the browser using S3 multipart upload.
Speaker: Sameer Bhatia
Session 3
An intro to Amazon Machine Learning
What is Amazon Machine Learning and how can it work for you? This presentation will cover what AML is, what types of data it works on, and how you can use it to easily make predictions about aspects of your business quickly, cheaply and without running any infrastructure.
Speaker: Dan Moore - The Food Corridor & Certified AWS Instructor
