1. Apache Druid: The Rise of Immediate Intelligence on AWS by Darin, Director of technology, Imply

Netflix, Pinterest, Shopee, Razorpay, DBS, Confluent - what do these companies have in common? The need for real-time analytics at scale from operational to edge use cases.

Decision making is changing: Apache Druid is a new type of database for creating the next generation of analytics applications that maximise flexible exploration over fresh, fast-arriving data. In this talk, Peter Marshall (Sr. Developer Advocate in Imply's Community Team) introduces these new "immediate intelligence" applications, describes how data pipelines built with Druid differ from those you may already be familiar with, and how one can build these analytic applications on AWS, alongside tools such as Amazon Kinesis, EMR etc. Bonus: real-life architecture examples will be discussed.

2. Demystifying Data Transfer Charges in AWS by Kang Zheng, Sourced

Calculating data transfer charges in the cloud can be a challenging task. The charges are not always transparent. There are situations where it’s free and situations where it’s not. In this session, we will be walking through two visuals created by Sourced Group to provide transparency and visibility into data transfer charges in AWS for more accurate estimates in your total cost of ownership.

3. Chaos Engineering in action using AWS Fault Injection Simulator by Nikit

We will walk through the concept of chaos Engineering and get familiar with AWS FIS terminologies. Post that will see at which stage of CI/CD we can place Chaos testing. We will also see a demo where we will destroy EKS resources using AWS FIS and monitor the resiliency of the application
