Ambigo brings people together to make their goals, ideas and ambitions happen. In this workshop, we will help each other to achieve our personal goals. HOW? In small groups we will each have the opportunity to consider and express a personal goal, idea or ambition you have. It can be anything. Then, in a fun and dynamic activity, we'll exchange info, contacts, advice and other support to help each other closer to making them a reality. WHAT KIND OF GOALS, IDEAS AND AMBITIONS ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? Anything at all that would lead you closer to personal fulfilment. They tend to be around topics like... *Taking up a new hobby *Developing a new skill *Starting a community project *Changing career *Finding your passion WHAT COULD I GET OUT OF THIS? Feel more inspired, confident and empowered to achieve what's specifically important to you. These sessions are fun and uplifting. If you don't have a goal in mind, but still want to come and join in to support others, please do! Nobody will have to speak in front of the group and you only share what you're comfortable sharing. WHAT DO PEOPLE SAY? - "I would recommend it to anybody with any type of goal" - Liana - "I've been really surprised by the amount of help people have been able to offer for my specific needs. It's given me a massive confidence boost!" - Nathan - "I was feeling alone with my idea, but people have offered suggestions about how I can do this. It's given me a lot of confidence in the viability of what I want to do" - Jess This event will draws on the following keys to happier living: Giving - we'll all be generously sharing our knowledge to help others around us Relating - we'll work in small groups to carefully listen and understand each other's ideas, passions and obstacles Trying Out - this is an opportunity for you to seek guidance and support for something you've never done before Direction - you'll set ambitious but realistic goals to give yourself a future to be excited about Resilience - you'll find out about others who may have had similar experiences to you and learn from them how to tackle challenges Acceptance - We'll be showing each other what's truly important to us. This will lead us to accept, value and support each other as unique individuals Meaning - the support you'll receive towards your goal will strengthen your sense of purpose
It's time for the March Happy Cafe! We get together over various table activities, games and discussion points to really bring to life what makes us more happy and resourceful in our lives. We are a friendly, inclusive and supportive bunch of people so even if you haven't been before, come and join us, you'll be made to feel more than welcome.
