This group is about friendship. We are a group for anyone who wants to meet new people and build friendships with people from all walks of life. Have you ever found something you wanted to do, but didn't have anyone to do it with? So have we, and we decided to change that. Together we can enjoy all the amazing events and opportunities to be found in the Bay Area.

Almost First Hike of 2019

Stevens Creek County Park

What’s The Plan: • How about meeting some new people, having some great conversation while enjoying a great hike overlooking the South Bay as we kick off 2019 • OPTIONAL: If there is interest, we may do lunch after the hike Time: • We will meet at the Baytree Picnic Parking Lot at 9:45AM for a quick round of introductions • We will promptly head out at 10AM Summary: • This moderate hike of about 7.5 miles and 1105 feet total ascent is a popular hike at Stevens Creek County Park. It includes spectacular views with a mixture of wooded areas and exposed trails. • Duration is about 2 to 3 hours depending on the speed of the group Key Info: • This park is a multi trail use park so that means we will encounter other hikers, dog walkers, trail runners, mountain bikers and horseback riders Parking and Carpooling: • Parking costs $6 • Pay for parking in the first lot at the meter • Parking is normally not difficult, but due to it being the start of the year, give yourself time • The address to the parking lot is: 11401 Stevens Canyon Road, Cupertino CA 95014 • Park in Baytree Picnic Parking Lot (it is the last parking lot) Dogs: • While the park is dog friendly, dogs will not be allowed to join our hike Restrooms: • There are restrooms at the trailhead Exposure: • A mix of wooded and exposed trails so be prepared.
