What on earth is going on with "Members Against the New View Transition on March 10th"

Actually

Nothing much.

Sorry if you are disappointed. It's a wise man (or woman) that knows his/her limitations. Meetup HQ obviously isn't too concerned. The transition may (or may not) have gone smoothly.

But from their perspective:

It went.

Turning one's back on those they pissed off isn't the best way to handle it in my opinion, but you have to admit it. It is ONE WAY to handle it. One of the members of this group contacted me today and asked me what was going on with the group, or rather, he pointed out that NOTHING seemed to be going on with the group.

So I called Oryx. He is in the middle of a little work crisis right now, and as I and hopefully others prepare for a nice weekend, Oryx isn't. He's got other things he has to deal with.

We, the . . . ah . . . Leadership team? (that's scary) haven't died. We are just talking quietly off line about where this fantastic group of organizers ought to turn our attention to. Just what sort of action on our part would in fact get Meetup HQ's attention? When we figure it out, we'll let you know.

Meanwhile, feel free to go on the group's discussion boards and say what ever you like. It wouldn't get you banned (at least from this group), and it may just help Oryx and I figure out the future.

Thanks,

John Cabrall
