Jesper Boeg (Agile Upgrade)

Talk: Beyond frameworks - Why Scrum and SAFe can be poison to your Agile change initiative. Frameworks can be useful. But, no matter how hard you try to explain that they are a means to an end and not the end itself, managers and teams alike are drawn to rule-books and simplistic one-size-fits-all answers like a moth to a flame. But how can you drive directed process improvement towards becoming an Agile organization without mandating Scrum, SAFe LeSS or Nexus? What is the actual goal? How do you involve leaders and managers in creating better environments for teams to succeed beyond mandating specific roles, events or practices? In this talk Jesper will share his experiences from 13+ years of Agile change management and how the Toyota Kata method ended up changing the way he approaches change at all levels of the organization.

Bio: Implementing Agile and Lean principles in the context of innovation and IT has been Jesper’s work and passion for more than a decade. He has great passion for continuous improvement and is constantly trying out new principles, tools and practices to find better ways of delivering great solutions and make work easier and more enjoyable for everybody.
