Secular Coalition for Arizona Lobbyist Tory Anderson will give us the wrap-up and the low-down of the just-ended AZ legislative session.

Message from Anne:

Our wonderful representative, Tory Anderson, Lobbyist for Secular Coalition for Arizona, will give us the lowdown on recently completed 2015 Arizona Legislative Session. American United – Greater Phoenix is a proud member organization of the Secular Coalition whose major mission is to act as a watchdog to help ensure religious groups, such as the Center for Arizona Policy, do not dictate public policy according to their fundamentalist Biblical views. Laws should be based on facts, past experience and reason, not religious dogma that DOES NOT reflect the beliefs of many Arizonans. Further the Secular Coalition of Arizona seeks to improve the public’s perception of non-theistic peoples and to ensure their civil rights are fully secured. All people, theists and non-theists, should be concerned that the full spectrum of religious belief, from atheists to fundamentalists, should be protected.

The 2015 Legislative Session proved to be short in duration, but very busy none-the-less. As always, Tory Anderson will shock, delight, and, at times, infuriate us, with all the juicy “insider information” about the bills, the politics, and general behind-the-scenes shenanigans! For more info check our Meet Up ( web page. This meeting is guaranteed to be a doozy so DON’T MISS IT!
