Dear French Language lovers,

Do you feel like meeting new people, having fun while practicing your French or helping others to practice French in a relaxed and cosy environment?

If so, we’d love to have you join our next free French workshop and language café! 😀

Programme:
Please start arriving from 19:15 onwards at Koentact Dutch Language School. We'll run the first French workshop between 19:30 to 20:30. Then we'll have a 15 minute break to chat and have a drink with your new French speaking friends. At 20:45, we’ll continue on with the second workshop until 21:30.

Level:
From A1+ onwards (including native french speakers)

This event is not for complete beginners but for beginners+, intermediate, and advanced speakers since we’ll be focusing on having conversations in French. French native speakers are also more than welcome to help practice French with non natives (and will even get a free drink for their help)!

Photography:
Please note that we will be taking photos at the event which may be used on our social media. If you don’t want to have your photo taken, please let us know at the event.

Donations welcome:
Our event is completely free, however, we really like to support disadvantaged children with their studies at school. If you would like to donate 2 to 5 euros to Studiezalen, we would highly appreciate this. See here for the link: https://studiezalen.com/doneer/. Programme:
Nous ouvrons les portes à partir de 19:15 à l'école de néerlandais Koentact. Nous animerons le premier atelier en français entre 19:30 et 20:30. Cet événement n'est pas destiné aux débutants complets mais aux intervenants débutants +, intermédiaires et avancés puisque nous nous concentrerons sur les conversations et échanges en français. Les francophones sont également les bienvenus pour aider à pratiquer le français avec des non-natifs (et recevront même une boisson gratuite pour leur aide) !

Notez que nous prendrons des photos lors de l'événement qui pourront être utilisées sur nos réseaux sociaux. Si vous ne souhaitez pas être pris en photo merci de nous en informer lorsque vous vous présentez à l'entrée.

Notre évènement est gratuit et organisé par des volontaires, ensemble nous aimerions soutenir des enfants dans leurs études. Beste liefhebbers van de Nederlandse taal,

Kom je zaterdag jouw Nederlands oefenen in de gezelligste buurt van Amsterdam: de Jordaan?

We ontmoeten elkaar in Buurthuis 't Claverhuis, de thuisbasis van Koentact Dutch Language School. Er zijn daarom ook Nederlandse docenten aanwezig om je te helpen met het oefenen van de taal.

Zoals het hoort in een echt Nederlands buurthuis kun je meedoen aan allerlei gezellige activiteiten: spelletjes spelen, samen koken, een kop koffie of een biertje drinken, samen lezen en natuurlijk veel Nederlands praten.

Het taalniveau is vanaf A1 en iedereen is welkom! Voor moedertaalsprekers van het Nederlands (of deelnemers met C2-niveau) die anderen komen helpen, staat er een gratis drankje klaar.

De entree bedraagt €4 per persoon. Betalen kan eenvoudig via een QR-code, met pin of contant. Voor Nederlanders en studenten van Koentact is de toegang gratis.

### Speciale gast: Suzanne de Graaf met het spel Dutch Citizenshit!

Deze zaterdag verwelkomen we Suzanne de Graaf, de bedenker van het spel Dutch Citizenshit!. Dit Engelstalige spel is speciaal gemaakt voor internationals die graag verhalen delen over hun ervaringen met de eigenaardigheden van Nederland.
Hoeveel Nederlandse musea ken jij? Wat vind jij van de beroemde Nederlandse directheid? En weet jij eigenlijk wat een washandje is? Tijdens het spel deel je jouw ervaringen en ontdek je hoe andere internationals Nederland beleven. Een leuke manier om elkaar beter te leren kennen en samen veel te lachen.

Ben je nieuwsgierig geworden? Kom het spel uitproberen!

Suzanne begeleidt het spel en als je enthousiast bent, kun je een exemplaar meenemen om de overige 91 kaarten thuis met vrienden of collega's te spelen.

Tip: neem ook je favoriete bordspel mee, zodat we samen nog meer leuke spellen kunnen spelen.

Dear lovers of the Dutch language,

Would you like to practise your Dutch this Saturday in Amsterdam's most charming neighbourhood, the Jordaan?

We'll meet at Buurthuis 't Claverhuis, home of Koentact Dutch Language School. Since this is also our school, several Dutch teachers will be there to help you practise your Dutch.

Just like in a traditional Dutch community centre, you can join all kinds of fun activities: play board games, cook together, enjoy a coffee or a beer, read together, and, of course, speak lots of Dutch.

The minimum language level is A1, and everyone is welcome! Native Dutch speakers (or participants with a C2 level) who come to help others practise will receive a free drink.
The entrance fee is €4 per person. You can pay by QR code, debit card or cash. Admission is free for Dutch participants and Koentact students.

This Saturday we're excited to welcome Suzanne de Graaf, creator of the game Dutch Citizenshit!.
This English-language game is designed for internationals who enjoy sharing stories about their experiences with the quirks and peculiarities of life in the Netherlands.
How many Dutch museums do you know? What do you think of famous Dutch honesty and directness? And do you know what a washandje is? This game is a fun opportunity to share your own experiences, hear those of other internationals, and bond over life in the Netherlands.

Has this sparked your curiosity? Come and give the game a try! Suzanne will guide you through the gameplay, and if you enjoy it, you can take a copy home to explore the remaining 91 cards with your friends, family, or colleagues.

Tip: Bring your favourite board game too, so we can enjoy even more games together!

Dear Dutch Language Enthusiasts!

Koentact Dutch Language School, who started the Amsterdam Language Cafe 15 years ago, is starting Dutch group classes soon this summer!

-Intensive (Start September 14) Mond-Sat 9.30-15.45 - 1 week
-Evening (Start September 22) Tues and Thurs 19.00-21.30 - 5 weeks
-Online (Start September 28) Mon and Wedn 19.00-21.30 - 5 weeks
-Morning in-person (Start September 29) Tues and Thurs 9.30-12.45 - 4 weeks
