World Usability Day 2016: Sustainable UX

Details

The theme for WUD 2016 (http://www.worldusabilityday.org/) is Sustainable UX.

Sustainability and UX design are innately intertwined since they are both about creating the best experience for people. Green processes and sustainable products take into account goals such as recycle, reuse and incremental improvement.

Green UX draws from individual needs and goals to generate products and services that both improve user experience and increase the convenience of environmentally friendly behaviours.

Speakers

  1. Nikki Veldhuis (https://nl.linkedin.com/in/nikkiveldhuis), UX Designer at The New Motion (https://www.thenewmotion.com/en/) that provides a charge point network and services for electric car charging.

  2. Siebe Nooij (https://nl.linkedin.com/in/siebe-nooij-a62b5b6), Picnic (https://www.picnic.nl/) which is the greenest online supermarket in the Netherlands.
