This community gathers everyone interested in UX and users. We talk about UX and things related to it: interaction design, visual design, user research, sketching and prototyping. We also reveal the role of UX in the development process, marketing, business, everyday life. We share our experience, we present our actual projects, we analyze trends and more.

How we do it: through a regular monthly meeting with an interesting presentation followed by a social. Feel free to come, whether you're a UX professional with decades of experience or if you'd like just have a look at what happens in UX today.

How do we help Design, Product, and Engineering partners understand Machine Learning (ML) in user experience? ML can assist in solutions that bring uniquely personal, adaptable, and relevant experiences to people of different languages, customs, and cultures. In this talk, Kristen will outline ML Design Thinking approaches. She’ll review a case at Reddit for elevating experiences that promote people at the center and the company’s mission – to bring belonging, empowerment, and community to everyone around the world – in ML-driven product development.

Kristen Guth, PhD is the Principal of Product Research at Reddit, Inc. Kristen is a social scientist research leader focused on change at the intersections of strategy, technology, innovation, and the digital space. She built the User Research organization at Reddit, which delivers tactical and strategic insights across product areas such as advertising, community, content, growth, and internationalization. Prior to Reddit, she led PayPal's large enterprise research strategy across more than 200 countries and regions. Kristen’s research has been published in journals such as Social Media & Society and presented at various conferences, including UX Strat, EPIC, the Academy of Management, and the Association of Internet Researchers.

Adyen provides end-to-end payments capabilities, data-driven insights, and financial products in a single global solution. We work with the likes of Facebook, Uber, H&M, Spotify, Rijksmuseum and many more.

Needs a location

We look to explore systems that provide healthcare in all its many forms such as virtual/telehealth, electronic health records, healthcare products and all digital health related solutions. This theme will help us explore timely and important issues such as continuity of care, access to treatment, telemedicine, systems for mental health, exercise, nutrition and many more. In addition, Our Health includes health problems related to environmental issues such as air and water pollution impact on health.
