Analyze Boulder 76: Private Eye

Details

Welcome to Analyze Boulder 76!
Analyze Boulder is a community of data geeks who live, work, and play in Boulder, Colorado.

The first Wednesday of every month, our members give fast, accessible, high-energy TED-style talks once a month on any data topic.

Talk at an event! We take all levels of technical and non technical talks, we focus on the data and ask that you not promote companies or products. Tell us about your aha moment from some data!!! Submit your idea to http://speakers.analyzeboulder.com/

Join us at Galvanize with mingling/beer from 6-6:30 pm, followed by the live event, and then we stick around and chat over beers afterward.
Please bring cash to contribute for beer. The evening's speaker lineup:

First, our own Dean Wyatte will present an analysis of the Analyze Boulder Member Survey, and what we have learned about the makeup and interests of the AB community.

Then, Angela Hennessy will describe how she trains a machine learning model with unlabeled DNS data for cybersecurity.

Finally, Ryan George will talk about including private data sources in models for business strategy at Lyft.

Livestream will be available for the first two talks: https://automox.zoom.us/j/668608876?pwd=cmpyRUMzOUh2UHVMcFhPNlRSNjQ2UT09
