Talk: Building Angular Apps at Scale

Get a sneak peek at the tooling Google uses to build enterprise-scale Angular applications, with 2 second dev-refresh cycle including AOT, and the smallest JS bundles.

Speaker: Alex Eagle

Alex works on compiler and build tooling for Angular and TypeScript internally at Google, and is the lead for ABC (Angular with Bazel and Closure) which aims to externalize our toolchain for other enterprises to use. He also created http://errorprone.info/ and in his 20% time works on TypeScript static analysis tooling.

Lightning Talks

Talk: Using modern architectural patterns with Angular

What we can learn from other frameworks and use to improve the maintainability of the Angular code. How DocuSign is achieving a better separation of concerns using a unidirectional data flow, immutability and dumb view components.

Speaker: Claudiu Andrei

Claudiu been with DocuSign for 3 years and currently is a tech lead for the DocuSign Sending Experience Team. He has been building web applications for over 10 years and his focus is creating simple scalable application architecture. Fun fact, he has been using all the major front-end web frameworks over the years.

Talk: Building a trusted design system with Angular

An introduction to Olive, DocuSign's CSS framework, component library, and style guide. The primary goal of the system is to bridge the gap between design and code, so engineers can use the framework to effortlessly build consistent experiences across all of our applications. We leverage Angular to make it easy to implement the JavaScript components without having to add a lot of extra code.

Speaker: Joe Cocco

Joe has been writing code for the last ten years, and he is currently an engineering manager at DocuSign. More recently he's been focusing on CSS and design systems.

Our host

DocuSign enables people around the world to electronically sign documents, approvals and agreements -- on any device, in any timezone. Our product enables fully digital workflows that save money, increase efficiency and move business forward.

From an engineers point of view, we take the complexity of digital signatures, the underlying cryptography that is used to build protocols that make commerce, trust and identity work on the internet, and bring them to consumers, the general public. All the things that we take for granted online, dSigs, SSL & TLS, x509 certs, oAUth...that dont exist on paper, our software brings this functionality to everyday activities like closing a deal, getting a mortgate, signing a contract, even filing your taxes.
