Worldwide Rally Against Trophy Hunting (WRATH)

On Saturday, February 3rd, 2018, activists across the globe will come together to take a stand against evil trophy hunting.

This date is chosen by CompassionWorks International. Our event will be held here in Denver on the same day, starting at 11AM.

Here is a portion of CWI’s statement:

“Our event takes place concurrent with the yearly Safari Club International Convention held in Las Vegas, NV. Protests will take place every day of the convention from 1/31-2/3 culminating in the worldwide event on *February 3*.

Everyone is impacted by domestic and international trophy hunting, so now's the time to get out and take a stand for the animals mercilessly killed for ego, greed, and vanity. Over the coming weeks, we will be updating our WRATH website at NotYourTrophy.org. As individual host cities for our event are established, we will post them there as well as on this event listing. Join us and take aim at trophy hunting!”

DETAILS for our Denver Rally:

*Posters and leaflets will be provided.

*We will stand on the west side of the Capitol along Lincoln Avenue.

• What to bring:
*Bring your own water, an umbrella, and dress in layers, because the weather can chance.

Children and fur babies are welcome, but know that this is along a busy street, so please keep that in mind when considering bringing children and fur babies. There are grassy areas off of the sidewalk that are more safe, while still visible from the street.
