@Dipti, you can remove services and their host components via the REST API, though this should be considered "beta" as it has not been tested extensively. For official support via Ambari Web, it's not on the roadmap for a specific future release but we can add to that if there's enough interest.

Yosaku, I had asked this question on WebEx, but do not know if it was answered. Along with adding a new service to stack, can we remove an existing or the added service from the stack ? - Is there any roadmap item for such feature ?

@Deepak, we will make the WebEx recording available. When it's ready, we'll post the link here.

@Sako: do you have the Webex recording available some where, if so please kindly share the details. So that we can rewatch the things or parts to clear some things on it.

Really apprecaite if you can upload the link to the recording of the WEBEX session you had.

    Thanks

@Deepak, yes, we will set up WebEx for the Meetup.

@Abhishek, thanks for filing/commenting on the JIRAs. Adding new services to the stack, taking over an existing cluster for Ambari to manage/monitor, Storm support, etc., are very important areas to work on. Let's take the discussions on these JIRAs.
As for pointing to your own Ganglia installation, please ask the question on the ambari-user mailing list so that you can get help/ideas from the community.

I have 2 basic questions as below:

    1) Can I install and configure Ambari over an existing hadoop based cluster like If I want to install ambari and point to any existing hadoop based distribution like Cloudera or HDP. Currently it installs hadoop from fresh and it does not look any existing hadoop.

    2) Can I configure Ambari point to my own ganglia installation which is not HDP based. I have installed ganglia on cloudera machine and I want to monitor my cloudera machine which has hdfs and mapreduce configured.
