About The Film Series: Meydan: Middle East Film Series at University of Denver ( http://www.du.edu/korbel/middleeast/events/meydan-film-series.html )
The film series is an invitation to engage with the Middle East on the level of culture and everyday life through the region's extraordinary cinema. We present a fascinating film from the Middle East followed by an informal discussion with a scholar of the region — all free of charge and open to the general public.
The films are shown at Reiman Theater, in Margery Reed Hall at University of Denver (SW corner of University & Evans). This month's film is Falafel. There will be a post-film discussion led by Joel Gordon.
