Eat Your Way Around the World

The weather forecast is not looking good for Saturday. We are lucky to have one of our members (Kim) offer to have this event at her house instead of at the park. Her house is more centrally located, which I'm sure many people will be happy about. However, since it's at a house instead of the park, we do need to put a limit on the number of attendees. If this change affects your RSVP status, please update it accordingly. If you're not able to make this event, hopefully we'll see you at another event soon!

It seems everyone is really excited about this group and meeting each other. We're having this event in the park, so that there is no limitation on the number of attendees. Hopefully the weather will still be nice. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other group members with your same interests, share experiences, meet someone who has been where you want to go, and just have fun hanging out and trying some interesting food.

This is a pot-luck type of event, focusing on foods from other cultures. Please bring a dish that is traditionally from another country to share with the group. We're going to label the dishes with the name of the dish and the culture/country it comes from since many people will be curious. You can label your dish before you come, or I will have materials there to label your dish.

I will also bring enough paper plates, napkins, and silverware.
