What we’re about
Welcome to the Official Art With Your Wine Paint and Party Meetup Group! Join us for exclusive paint nights at my private studio and/or another fun venue. Our group is all about meeting new friends with the same interest. Any member can also suggest a painting for the class! All skill levels and ages are welcome! People may bring snacks and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages into the event.
I am very excited to be adding online classes as well in the near future.
Since we're just getting started again, I want to make sure that everybody understands that I will be your art instructor for Art With Your Wine and I will supply all the easels, paint, brushes and fun no matter where we meet. We should be looking for venues that will allow a group of us to come and paint, sip and have a ton of fun (and I will provide instruction and all materials)!
I realize there are other paint & sip businesses around but my vision for our club is to have smaller class sizes so I can give you more guidance, etc. I've been teaching art (and drinking wine) for a long time and know how to make art fun for people with all levels of experience.
What I'm thinking is that we could meet at public locations, such as restaurants or pubs (when they're not busy), outdoor locations (when the weather permits) and/or at one of our homes. If you want to host a meeting at your home, then I wouldn't charge YOU anything for that "event".
I'm still thinking about the maximum number of people that can meet, paint and sip at the same time. I need to be able to transport easels, brushes, paint, canvases, etc, so I'm thinking about limiting each meeting to maybe 12 people, at least initially.
So please contact me if you want to recommend a venue or volunteer to host at your home. If your home can't accommodate 12, we could have a smaller group meet at your home, but I'm thinking we need to have at least 8 members at any given event and I can accommodate five adults when I decide to have class in my Art Studio.
I can't wait to meet you all and get the paint party started!!
