Artistic Artifacts at 4750 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, VA is the source for the latest “creative finds for creative minds.” No matter your medium, you'll find products, and techniques to use in designing fiber and mixed media projects.  We are beginning to schedule in-person classes again, and due to their popularity, will continue certain virtual events & classes. We have a FB Group to keep our creative juices flowing, where participants are sharing their projects, virtual challenges, updates on JAMS (a fiber and mixed media art group) and more.

ADVANCED CLASS: Colorful Eco-Printing on Silk with Dyann Alery Black

Prerequisite: prior attendance in Dyann’s Eco-Printed Silk Scarf class. Most Supplies Provided for this advanced class creating a one of a kind oversized silk scarf using the eco-printing method with botanical items you bring from your own garden (or your neighbor’s). This scarf is more of a challenge, as it will have a fold in it and the overall size is 22 in. x 72 in. — note the total number of students is limited due to space requirements. Blue Onion Quilt with Dudley Shugart
