2015 September R Meet Up

Dear members:

Welcome to our second meet up in 2015. Instead of external speakers, as we usually have, this time we have two from our own group:

We will start with Ian Shane Wong, a recent Uni graduate who found a start-up company called “Future Insight”. He will talk about the product “Simqly.com (http://simqly.com/)” and how R plays a part of it.

Then, we have Andrew Peterson PhD. & Principal Data Scientist at Soltius talks about Operational Forecasting of Short-term Hospital Occupancy using R.

I will do a proper introduction for both at the meet up.
