Many people are calling 2014 the year of The Internet of Things. Electric Imp (http://electricimp.com) may not know much about calendars, but they do know a lot about connected hardware. Integrating connectivity into products turns out to be much more difficult than most companies realize. There are a myriad of challenges that are often overlooked in the early stages of connected product design, ranging from selecting the proper protocol, security, building a scalable platform for thousands or tens of thousands of connections. This presentation will examine these challenges, and offer insight into how they can be overcome through a connectivity platform such as Electric Imp.
We're excited to have Electric Imp (http://electricimp.com) sponsor food and drinks for this meetup!
