Creating Your 1st Book or Ebook

You may not be planning to write the great American novel but you might have something you want to write and share that's longer than a tweet or a post. Our panel includes a published author and ebook writer along with experts on copyright, pricing, editing, and publishing.

The panel will talk about tools that they like and don't like, how to manage your time and efforts, finding the right help where you need it most, costs, working with an editor and graphics people, self publishing vs. using a publisher, and what your role is besides being the author.

If you've published an ebook or are in process, we hope you will come and add to the discussion. You might even get some sales!

What can I bring into the event?

If you have a book you've published, you can bring that. If you're got an ebook and press on it, you can also bring that. We will give you a chance to talk about them briefly— so be prepared.

Everyone will introduce themselves, so please bring business cards if you have them.
