Also Included in the class are tips and tricks I've learned/developed over the years i've been brewing.

Brew Your Own Inexpensive High Quality Never Ending Kombucha 2 Ways
What You’ll Need:
1 living Kombucha Mother, OR RAW ONLY Store-Bought kombucha
A 1-gallon standard jar, glass only, wide mouth jar.
A piece of of cloth that can go over the mouth of A 1-gallon standard jar
A 1-gallon Steel Pot and stirring spoon
1 Gallon of as pure water as possible
1 1\4 Cups White Cane Sugar (Organic Preferred for purity reasons) or Regular White Cane Sugar.
Any Black Caffeinated tea bags (Standard box). Organic tea!
Cheese cloth or some kind of non-metal filter you can harvest your Kombucha with as your pour it into your storage container.
How to Easily Brew
Make Sweet Tea. (ask your mother)
Add 4 tea bags, minimum, steep to taste.
Let this solution cool to tepid or to luke warm temperature.
DON’T USE ANY METAL BEYOND THIS POINT-Metal reacts negatively with the kombucha culture.
Put your solution into your gallon glass jar, feeding it your loving, healthful intentions.
Gently Lovingly (It is ALIVE like you!) Put your living Kombucha Mother(Smooth Side Up) into your glass jar, send it your loving, healthful intention.
Secure your piece of of cloth over the mouth of your jar.
Store in a warm, clean, dust-draft-traffic free spot in your house, out of direct sunlight. (cupboard or closet are great).
Adjust the brew time for your taste preference. The warmer it is, the faster it will brew. The more caffeinated it is, the faster it will brew. The longer you let it brew, the stronger and less sweet it will be. The less sugar, the longer the brew time. Above 85 degrees it is ready REALLY Fast. How to Easily Harvest Your Kombucha
Use only clean, sterile bottles.
Remove and store Kombucha SCOBY (mother) in a covered plastic or glass container. The Scoby can be refrigerated for a very long time
Brew Your Own Never Ending Kombucha From a Store-Bought Bottle
Propagate a high-quality kombucha mother of your own with just a bottle of raw kombucha from your favorite kombucha-brand, a little care, some sugar, and good black tea. How? Harvest the VERY small (almost microscopy) raw kombucha strands of the SCOBY. Your job is to feed those strands until they form a strong kombucha mother. Too much food, and the kombucha won't be strong enough to culture the substrate and it will mold. Too little food, and it won't grow.
