ARTful Facilitation Immersion

Details
We invite you to join us this May for a weekend of open-hearted interpersonal connection and edgy opportunities to show up in group facilitation.
This ARTful Immersion will be held over three days on May 1st (6p - 10p), 2nd (10a - 8p) and 3rd (10a - 4p). The leaders for the weekend will setup the immersion by introducing some general facilitation concepts and some connection experiments. Then throughout there will be several opportunities for those who are interested to further co-create the weekend experience by leading the group (or sub-groups) in what are commonly known as “Relating Games”.
This weekend is for anyone who enjoys practicing authenticity in service for more genuine and rich connections. And while there is no obligation for you to facilitate anything, this weekend is also for those who might be interested in facilitating at an ART Connection Lab, or perhaps you just want an opportunity to get a taste of what it’s like to facilitate for a group or sharpen your pre-existing facilitation skills in a different container.
Facilitation, leadership skills and experience gained in an authentic relating container can have benefits across the entire spectrum of life and contexts. One could even consider the weekend as fun professional development!
And for those less interested in being the centre of attention for a period of time, we’ve been keen to structure this such that it can be very rewarding as a pure participant. A great way to think of this immersion is much less like a workshop and more like a playshop. There are no presentations and while you might want to bring your notebook, no-one has to write anything down. Participation/engagement in relating vs. active “training” is around 6:1.
The weekend will be held at Sterling Studios (151 Sterling Rd, Studio #4) and is non-residential, this means participants are responsible for their own lodging and food. Water and a Microwave will be on-site (no refrigeration available), there is a restaurant directly across from the venue, as well as dozens more within a 5-7 minute walk. Food breaks are 90 minutes on Saturday, and 60 minutes on Sunday. AirBnb’s currently can be had in the immediate area for as little as $51CAD for these dates (at the time of this writing there are 6 at <$100/night).
Leadership for this weekend is Taylor & Shaina.
The price for this immersion is $300. There is an early-bird rate of $250 in effect until Midnight, Tuesday, March 31st.
Your registration is only complete after payment has been received. To complete your RSVP please send Interac Email Money Transfer (preferred) or Paypal of $300 to payment@authenticrelatingtoronto.com.
