Why IN-PERSON vs ONLINE? Never ... EVER ... UNDERVALUE the Power of the In-Person presence. Never. It's different support; a different camaraderie; and definitely different takeaways that ALWAYS occur with the "lingering" factor that real-time interaction creates.

Welcome to the AuthorYOU SALONS ...
AuthorYOU SALONS are about how-tos, what-fors and why-not now. Think of it as an experience that is safe for authors at all levels; always sharing usable information and fun.

A gathering spot has been created to schmooze with other authors on a monthly Saturday morning. At the beginning, each person is asked: What do you need to know today to help with your publishing journey? You answer and the agenda is set. We all:
·         brainstorm ideas
·         get a little feedback (sometimes a lot)
·         ask questions about a book in the works or already published
·         figure out book marketing and how to launch or relaunch a book
·         hang with other authors
·         learn the latest in social media strategies
·         get feedback on writing or an idea that's percolating
·         whatever pops into your mind ...
... it just has to be authoring, writing and/or publishing connected. In other words ... get some help. There is NO set agenda ... what there will be as a stream of ideas and thoughts that will be shared and can be used to enrich your writing, your authoring and your success.
Cost: Free and available to members of As a newbie or wondering "is this for me?" you can attend one session for free as guest of a member. Forward, you need to join Judith Briles donates her time to you, which is billed at $450 an hour if you were to do a one-on-one with her.
Rules: Must be registered to attend by NOON, the day before the scheduled date. This is a free exchange of ideas and questions-Is there a book in the works? Are you stuck? Curious about the various publishing options? Do you just need to hang and schmooze once in a while with other authors? Ask your questions ... you'll get answers. And, this is a "pay it forward" group--we help each other along this path. ALSO: if less than 5 authors are registered by the Friday before, it will be canceled.
Does the AuthorYOU SALON sound like a plan for you? IN-PERSON ... Created in a "Salon" type environment-coffee, tea and water will be available. If you come, bring a snack to share with others.
