The afternoon program will feature Adam Frey discussing "Finding Value in the Shadow: Unfamiliar Tools for Impossible Situations".

Most of us wait until we are under stress to use the types of consciousness that are in our shadow. Under attack, we may express those functions in ruthless, destructive ways. In this workshop, Adam will guide us in investigating why our tried and true ways of solving problems and resolving conflicts sometimes fail us. We’ll look at situations in which the consciousness we need to reach a solution can only be found in our shadow, exploring the rewards and pitfalls of turning to our less-preferred functions for fresh ways of coping.
