What we're about

The Bangkok Shambhala Meditation Group is part of an international community of urban meditation and rural retreat centers founded by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and further developed by his son and lineage holder Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. We offer basic meditation classes, free meditation instruction, a curriculum of Buddhist studies and Shambhala Training—a progressive series of weekend workshops that help students develop a personal meditation practice in order to engage more fully and compassionately in the world. We also provide opportunities for communal gatherings, celebrations, and events. We invite you to explore our diverse programs designed to help people of all traditions discover their inherent sanity, gentleness and humor.
