Clover Health will be hosting the first Airflow meetup of 2017

Talks:

Clover uses Airflow to make healthcare work
Speaker: George Leslie-Waksman, Data Engineer @ Clover Health

Clover is a health insurance company using technology in measurable ways to change healthcare for the better. We will discuss some of the ways airflow enables wrangling the breadth and variety of data that we receive. We'll cover some of the tricks and techniques that we've developed to open Airflow up to as much of our team as possible.

Offline Model Building with Airflow

Speaker : Kevin Mandich, Data Scientist @ Agari

Airflow is an important part of our machine learning pipeline at Agari. We'll describe a few DAGs we use as part of our effort to solve the needle-in-a-haystack problem of detecting targeted email attacks, a.k.a. spear-phishing.

Using Apache Airflow as a platform for data engineering frameworks

Speaker: Arthur Wiedmer, AirBnB

Airbnb uses Airflow ability to dynamically generate pipelines to power frameworks addressing the needs of the data teams. We will explore some of Airflow expressiveness via a couple of examples running in production at Airbnb.
