Hands-on and fearlessly curious, Rachel Crocker values engagement above all else. Her love of storytelling (perhaps inspired by her affinity for TED Talks) is evident in her business communications, and she’s able to bring even the most formidable concepts down to earth. From anticipating operational snafus to experimenting at home in the kitchen, Rachel is living a life that constantly keeps her challenged and stimulated. Rachel has built her career around a drive to improve, learn and engage. She spent more than seven years pursuing her passion for health and social services by managing data reviews, supervising operational staff, and collaborating with hospital leadership in roles at Cardon Outreach and Huron Consulting Group. She holds an MBA from Marylhurst University and a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University.

CEO and Chairman of Beaconforce ( (, a fast growing start-up from San Francisco that transforms managers into leaders who can create inspiring work environments and a workforce that excels. He is also a management consultant for Millenniaminds ( ( and specializes in Change Management, Management Psychology and Behavioral Economics. He recognized many years ago that there is a gap between what science knows about human behaviors and what business does. He aims to reduce this gap through his efforts at Beaconforce, Millenniaminds and by educating the younger generation of business leaders. He teaches Operations Management, Management Consulting and Change Management at Hult International Business School in San Francisco and Tor Vergata University in Rome. He has also been invited to speak at TedxBologna.

Cindy Peterson (, VP of Organizational Effectiveness at Macy's

Cindy leads a team of senior internal change agents within the Macys Technology organization. The organizational effectiveness team supports large scale cross-functional change management initiatives across the Macys Tech, customer Experience, technology finance and capital investment teams. By providing tools and practices for teams to continually adapt and adopt innovative ways of thinking and working, the OE team’s objective is to maximize the productivity and employee engagement of the Macys technology organization. Prior to joining Macys, Cindy held a variety of roles in the manufacturing world at companies including Intel, Hitachi, and Miasole Solar implementing culture change and process optimization strategies. She has been in a full-time change leadership position at Macys since 2012.

Mark is a dynamic Change Management Leader with a track record of crafting and delivering impactful Change Management strategies that drive adoption and meet business objectives. He has 15 years of experience working within technical start-ups and global Enterprise environments. For the last 4 years, Mark has led a team of Senior Level Change Management professionals that deliver transformational Change Readiness strategies to over 22,000 employees in 62 countries. Mark's passion for Change Management and technological disruption have led him to explore the new frontier of Change Management. He seeks to better understand and shape the future of the profession through continuous innovation.
