Nikita Ivanov is founder and CTO of GridGain Systems, started in 2007 and funded by RTP Ventures and Almaz Capital. Nikita has led GridGain to develop advanced and distributed in-memory data processing technologies. Nikita has over 20 years of experience in software application development, building HPC and middleware platforms, contributing to the efforts of other startups and notable companies including Adaptec, Visa and BEA Systems. Nikita is an active member of Java middleware community, contributor to the Java specification, and holds a Master’s degree in Electro-Mechanics from Baltic State Technical University, in Russia. Kexue (Kay) Wei is Staff Cloud Architect of Alibaba USA and Chair of CEA China City Org. Alliance with more 20 years architect design and management experience. Prior joining Alibaba, he was head of Huawei US SPO Big data team, Vice President of ID5(A Startup invested by KPCB and Softbank), Principal Enterprise Architect of Microsoft, Chief Architect of Oracle/BEA China and manager of HP/Agilent OSS Team. Doug Hood is Product Manager and refines, designs and builds autonomous database service powered by Oracle Times Scaleout. He works with customers and executes proof of concepts for TimesTen. The proof of concepts usually involves one or more of SQL, PLSQL, ODBC, OCI, JDBC, R, Python, C++ or C#. Doug previously served in a number of roles with Oracle and TimesTen, including QA Engineer, Technical Director, Advanced Technology Services, and Performance Engineer.
