Learning Analytics: Measuring the Effectiveness of Your Learning Programs
Most learning and training programs ineffectively measure success with two metrics: attendance and class satisfaction. However, the reason why most organizations invest in training programs is to solve a challenging business problem or to change behavior. Very rarely are the results of these programs evaluated on business impact or organizational change. In this event, we will look beyond the "smile sheet" and discuss ways to measure the impact of your learning and training programs. Speakers Dr. Clark Quinn Clark is a learning industry thought leader and the author of, "Millennials, Goldfish & Other Training Misconceptions: Debunking Learning Myths and Superstitions" and "Revolutionize Learning & Development: Performance and Innovation Strategy for the Information Age." Scott Seiffer, Consultant at BTS In this presentation, Scott will discuss how BTS was able to measure ROI of their training programs using a unique email campaign and other similar methods. Rajon Tumbokon, Global Technical Training Lead at LinkedIn Rajon will walk through how the technical training team at LinkedIn was able to measure productivity and performance improvements as a result of implementing new technical onboarding programs.
