Come and join us for a Photo Walk at the Jazz On Fillmore Music Festival and Street Fair. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome to attend and enjoy a day of great music and photography.

This is a photographer friendly event. The musicians who perform at the fair do not object to you taking photos and may even welcome seeing some of them.

Although there are great musicians performing on both days, I feel the best day to attend is Sunday because the parking meters do not run on Sundays which means that it is easier to find a parking space and you do not have to pay the high fees to park. Also, hourly time limits do not apply, however, be careful to read all of the signs to be sure.

DATE: Sunday, July 7, 2019

TIME: 9:45 am to 6:00 pm. Of course you can leave early if you wish.

MEETING LOCATION: We will meet near the Fillmore Auditorium on the Southwest corner of Geary and Fillmore Streets at 9:45 am. We will wait until 10:15 am for you to join us and than we all leave to enjoy the fair. If you arrive late, you probably will not be able to find us in the crowd. If that happens, just enjoy the festival and upload some of your images to the photo gallery.

COST: This is a FREE event to attend. All we ask is that you enter a Yes RSVP so we know how many people are planning to attend. If you are not a member of this group, it is Free to join so that you can enter your RSVP.

FREE ON STREET PARKING: On Sundays, the parking meters do not run so you do not have to pay to park and hourly time limits also do not apply, however, before you park, you should read any signs which might contain other restrictions.

I have attended this Fair many times and it is really a great day of music on several stages.

RSVP: If you would like to join us, please enter a Yes rsvp. This will help us know how many people are planning to attend. We will also send an email to everyone who enters a Yes rsvp with updates.

PLEASE NOTE: If your plans change and you are not able to attend, please be courteous and change your rsvp from Yes to No.
