Multiple streams of Income discussion

My name is Angelo and I am a full-time engineer in the Bay Area. For the past year or so (starting October of 2015), I've been exploring multiple options for grabbing passive income. I've done, and am doing things ranging from real estate, financial services, to flipping Yeezys.

Just wanted to get a group together of like-minded people and brainstorm about side hustle ideas, and perhaps build a tight-knit group that can help each other out in the long run.

In case you haven't thought much about multiple streams of income too much, here are the reasons why I do it:

• 401Ks alone cannot be used for retirement as taxes and other costs will eat up most of the lifetime savings.
• Multiple streams of income means I can be less dependent, or completely independent from the income I get from my job; I've seen many of my friends get laid off and having $0 income while living in the Bay Area is not a position I ever want to find myself in.
• More dispensible income.
• Life isn't a dress rehearsal, so why not try my best?
• It's FUN
