Seven Trees Community Center has indoor Pickleball on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Come and join us! While you are at the Community Center, you can use the cardio room and the exercise room. The fee for drop-in Pickleball is $5.50 for ages 18 to 49. For youth and those 50 and over, the drop in fee is only $2.75.
AVAC has Pickleball! That’s Almaden Valley Athletic Club for those of you who are not familiar with AVAC. This is one of the premier athletic clubs in the Bay Area. They have nine Pickleball courts - five dedicated courts and one tennis court with blended lines for four Pickleball courts with heavy duty net systems on wheels. Those of you who have not yet had the pleasure of playing on a dedicated court are going to enjoy the experience. This is one beautiful facility and a Pickleball opportunity you do not want to miss. If you have any questions, you can contact me or you can contact AVAC directly at (408)[masked]. Here is the link for AVAC. Check it out! http://www.avac.us/club/scripts/view/view_insert.asp?GRP=27676&NS=PUBLIC&IID=319831 There is no charge for AVAC members. For non-members, the fee is $7 for the drop-in sessions and blocks of open play. Alternatively, you can purchase a 10 visit pass for $50 or a 20 visit pass for $90. They currently have organized drop-in sessions as follows: Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday: 9 am - noon I am open to requests for additional Drop-In sessions as demand increases, so please contact me if you would like to see another morning or evening session added. If one of the drop-in sessions does not work with your schedule, bring a few friends and enjoy some Pickleball during open play. Open Play is any time other than during Drop-In sessions. If you are brand new to Pickleball, you are welcome at AVAC. Please come during the first hour (9am to 10 am) on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the beginner’s clinic. If you are new and cannot make it on either of those days, please contact me and I will try to arrange to be there during one of the sessions that works for you or your group. They also have paddles and balls for you to use. AVAC is destined to be a major Pickleball destination for the South Bay. Use the link above to find out more about AVAC and this great Pickleball opportunity. I hope to see you on the courts at AVAC soon! Steve
You are welcome to join in the Pickleball fun at the Matt Jimenez Community Center in Hayward. All levels are welcome and they have a paddle for you to use. This is a great place to learn the game. Sorry, no one under 18. The drop-in fee is only $2.
