Palo Alto Echelon Gran Fondo 75-mile pre-ride
Echelon Gran Fondos are well organized, fun events with shades of the Tour de France atmosphere, and they raise money for local charities. The event founder, Hunter Ziesing of Echelon Gran Fondo, will lead a pre-ride of the 75 mile fall gran fondo course. It's a no drop ride, but at a moderate-to-fast pace.
If there is demand, Hunter will change the start time to 12 noon. Let us know with a comment what your preferred start time is and we will post a final start time Monday next week.
At present this ride departs at 8 AM, Thursday September 16th (complimentary coffee and bagels served at 7:30 AM)
1. If more than 10 riders, there will be a support car following this ride to offer mechanical and emergency/SAG assistance.
2. Jeff from Palo Alto Bicycles warns against parking in the lot behind the store or on the street b/c risk of getting one or more tickets.
