Doris is a Senior Technology Evangelist at Microsoft for the Western region of the United States, specialized in web technologies (HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, Winodws 8, Ajax, and Java). Doris has over 15 years of experience in the software industry working in several open source web tier technologies, Java platform, .NET and distributed computing technologies. She has developed and delivered over 400 keynotes, technical sessions, code camps worldwide, published widely at numerous international conferences and user groups including HTML5 Dev Conference, O’Reilly, JSEverywhere, WebVisions, JavaOne, SD Forum, HTML5 and JavaScript meetups, and worldwide User Groups. Doris works very closely to create and foster the open source community around Java, NetBeans, Glassfish, and related technologies. Before joining Microsoft, Doris Chen was a Technology Evangelist at Sun Microsystems.Doris received her Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in computer engineering, specializing in medical informatics. She loves to travel and she has visited 48 countries (out of 872) so far. In her spare time, she also enjoys music, movies and museums.

Driving Directions:

From Hwy 101 North

Exit onto Mathilda Avenue, immediately move to the second lane from the left, turning left onto Moffett Blvd. Less than a mile, turn right onto Enterprise Way. Turn into the first or third entrances into Moffett Towers, or you can enter the back parking lot directly by turning right onto 11th Ave from Enterprise. You can also take the Ellis Street exit, turn left, crossing over RR tracks, continue on and turn left onto Enterprise Way.

From Hwy 101 South & Hwy 237 East

Exit onto Hwy 237 towards Milpitas, staying in the right lane to exit onto Mathilda Avenue. Be in the left lane, turn left onto Mathilda Avenue, and immediately move to the second lane from the left, turning left onto Moffett Blvd. Less than a mile, turn right onto Enterprise Way. Turn into the first or third entrances into Moffett Towers, or you can enter the back parking lot directly by turning right onto 11th Ave from Enterprise.

Hwy 237 West

Exit onto Mathilda Avenue. Turn right and proceed past Moffett Blvd. (left turn is unavailable onto Moffett Blvd., when coming off of Hwy 237 West), moving into left lane, turn left onto Innovation Way. Follow around to the back entrance on 11th Avenue, turning left into Moffett Towers.
