Poets Corner @ Koorliny Arts Centre in Kwinana

Everyone's a poet. Some just don't know it . . . yet!

After being inspired by a recent Befriend Hosts Writing Circle in Kwinana this Meetup has been scheduled with the hope of encouraging anyone and everyone who has either put pen to paper in the past and written a piece or two of poetry in their time or for those who have never written a poem . . . til now!

All levels of writing skills are welcome. We will introduce fun and motivating topics each session to help inspire you to put your thoughts to paper.

I am hoping we can explore meetups in different venues down the track like the Spectacles or other bush settings such as Sloans Cottage and even the beach for inspirational writing queues.

For those interested we’ll explore ways of having our work on display in our local community to share our talents and of course we’ll no doubt have a lot of fun creating, listening and sharing each others written words.

All you need to bring along is a notebook and pen or you may be more comfortable using a laptop or the like. Whatever suits you, works for us.

I hope you can join me for two hours on Monday, 22nd February, 15th March & 29th March for a 9.30am start in Studio 1 @ The Koorliny Arts Centre in Kwinana.

Oh please bring along your own teacup or mug and I’ll put the kettle on!
