Welcome to the Befriend community! This is where you'll find invitations from every day folk all over Perth who are hoping you'd like to join them in doing something fun! All groups and gatherings are initiated and run by local residents, guided by the Befriend values of inclusion, fun, authenticity, curiosity and sustainability.
Befriend is just the platform to connect, you all are the real superstars here! At a Befriend community group you can expect to find people who will greet you with a friendly face and a warm welcome.

Creative Sanctuary-Darlington
Darlington Hall, 1/3 Owen Road, Darlington, AUA gentle, small-group creative sanctuary. it’s a space to bring your own project or use shared materials. No pressure to produce — just time, creativity, and quiet company.
I’m really looking forward to spending this time with you, to creating in the company of others. This is a calm, welcoming space, a creative sanctuary – your creative sanctuary. It is an opportunity to spend unhurried time with your creativity. Bring your own project or use shared materials provided. There is no pressure to finish anything — just time, permission, and quiet company. This space was inspired by a vision-boarding session focused on creativity and wellbeing. This is an in-person session in Darlington, WA. There are limited places available, so RSVP is essential.
When: 10:00am – 2:00pm Fridays 26 June 2026, 4 Sept, and 23 Oct
What to bring:
– Your own creative project (any stage is welcome), or curiosity if you’d like to use shared materials
– Lunch, snacks, and anything you need to feel comfortable (there is a cafe across the road if you wish to purchase food and drink) I will provide tea, coffee and some refreshments.
- A small contribution of $35 helps cover shared materials and makes the space sustainable.I want Creative Sanctuary to feel accessible and welcoming.
